Temporary fold lines are normal after shipping. Lay your rug flat and begin with the gentlest method; most creases soften naturally over the next few days.

Add gentle weight
Place flat, heavy objects such as books on the folded areas for several hours.

Secure the corners
Use rug-safe tape or a rug pad to help lifted corners settle and stay in place.

Low heat if needed
Only if the care label allows, test first and use low heat over a clean protective cloth.
Good to know: Most creases disappear naturally as the rug settles. Avoid high heat and never iron directly on the rug surface.

Rug care, made simple
Always check the care label first. These steps help protect the surface, color and shape of washable TYROT rugs.

Let creases recover
Lay the rug flat and give folded areas time to relax before using stronger methods.

Vacuum gently
Use a dusting brush or soft roller head on the lowest suction setting. Avoid beater bars.

Wash cold
When the label permits machine washing, choose a gentle cold-water cycle. Do not bleach.

Air dry
Air drying is recommended. If the label permits a dryer, use an air-only cycle with no heat.

Blackout Curtain Care
Smooth shipping folds, gently
Blackout panels can develop temporary folds in transit. Start with hanging and use heat only when the sewn-in label allows it.

Hang first
Install the panels, space the folds evenly and allow several days for gravity to soften packing creases.

Steam from the reverse
If permitted, steam the back of the panel. Keep the steamer moving and away from direct fabric contact.

Use low heat only
Test a hidden corner first. Use a cool iron on the reverse with a clean cloth between iron and curtain.

Cool fully while hanging
Leave panels extended until completely cool and dry so the softened folds do not set again.
Protect the blackout layer: Never use high heat, bleach or direct ironing on a coated backing. Construction varies, so the product care label always takes priority.
